The secret behind Koona 45’s taste:

1. Malt foundation

Premium pale barley malts form the smooth, creamy base of the beer.

2. Aroma hopping

Simcoe & Lotus hops are added at lowered temperatures to release delicate notes of peach and tropical fruits without excessive bitterness.

3. Proprietary fermentation

a proprietary culture of selected microorganisms ferments the wort slowly and naturally, creating complex beer aromas while keeping residual alcohol at just 0.23%.

4. Long maturation

several weeks of cold-aging refine the essential hop oils and give Koona 45 its elegant balance.

5. Functional enhancement

Electrolytes are added to support athletic recovery, aligned with mineral intake guidelines from the German Nutrition Society (DGE).
